The YMCA Foundation was set up through the generosity of one of our members with a vision to invest in strengthening our Youth Movement nationally and bring better development outcomes to tamariki, rangatahi and our communities, for a better future.

The YMCA movement within New Zealand operates under the ‘Y’ banner as a network of independent regionally based charities with a diverse range of offerings with a focus on youth, including low-cost accommodation, fitness & recreation centres, gyms, outdoor education camps, childcare services, youth development programmes, social services, tertiary education, alternative education and employment support.
While some programmes can generate their own revenues, most rely on the support of funders and grants to be delivered.
We appreciate any support you are able to provide to allow us to continue to make a difference in the lives of children, young people and their families in our local communities across Aotearoa.

Donations of $5 or more are receipted and eligible for tax deductions. This will be done automatically for Debit/Credit Card donations. For internet banking donations simply email or txt 0274507403 or phone us with an email address you would like the receipt to go to.
